Apex Legends has over 100 million players, Kings Canyon is getting some changes (again), and is that a new Legend I spy? Sneaky Respawn.
Respawn recently announced that Apex Legends has over 100 million players, quite an achievement for a two-year-old game, but that’s not all.
100 million strong, and we’re just getting started. Thank you, Legends! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/FlINru0lx5

Were you paying attention? Because it looks like Kings Canyon is getting some more adjustments (check out the 0:43 time mark), this time to what looks like the Broken Relay area (could be wrong). Kings Canyon was already changed quite a lot since the start of Season 8, with new areas and altered terrain, but apparently it needed even more love.
More exciting, though, is the glimpse at the potential next Legend (around the 0:42 time mark), when Mirage looks up at a figure in the sky. They’re hovering, not jumping, like Horizon but without the huge blue trail.
According to leaks, this is most likely a Legend called Valk (Falcon if you want to get bilingual about it) who sounds like an unholy union of Horizon and Fuse with her rumoured hover abilities and cluster missile attack. This is the first official glimpse of her, but Season 9 starts on 4 May, so expect to see the new-Legend hype ramp up over the next few weeks.
Can’t say I’m looking forward to playing against another Legend with upwards mobility. Looking at you, Horizon.
