Not really feeling the Monday work vibes? Twerk Hero’s got you covered. Assuming you’re still working from home. Also, please triple-check that you’re not sharing your screen before grabbing that ass – a general life rule, really.
Released to coincide with the launch of his latest single Montero (Call Me By Your Name), Lil Nas X and Roni Games’ free, browser-based Twerk Hero is a rhythm game in which you take control of Lil Nas X’s butt and use the mighty power of twerking to rebuff all incoming temptations (arrows). Yes.
I say rhythm game, but there is surprisingly little rhythm involved for a game meant to tie-in with a song. You’ll just end up flailing Lil Nas X’s overly animated behind around the screen while the (quite excellent) Montero (Call Me By Your Name) plays in the background.
If you think this is outrageously offensive, you clearly haven’t been paying attention to Lil Nas X lately (also maybe stop clicking on things called Twerk Hero). You thought he was all about horses and roads in old towns? Now he’s beheading Satan after giving him a lap dance. Also, he recently partnered up with an art collective to produce limited edition Nike Satan Shoes, featuring ink mixed with human blood. Nike subsequently sued because human blood isn’t really part of their brand journey.
You go, boy.
