Among Us Airship

EMERGENCY MEETING! The Among Us Airship map is out this month

Turns out, when your tiny company suddenly becomes super-popular, you can’t just release things whenever you want, as the developers at Innersloth explain in their latest update.

The dev team behind Among Us has been very busy since their little game about doing mundane tasks, in space, while being hunted by a homicidal Imposter, became a cultural phenomenon during the global pandemic lockdown experience of 2020. People all around the world got together to reveal their truly sus selves, as they hastily constructed totally believable alibis for why they happened to be standing next to a corpse, and came up with excellent reasons why we should really just eject Gareth instead.

So, gone are the days of patching together a PC update and releasing it into the world without a second thought. Now, there are approval processes, multiple platforms to consider, maintenance, moderation concerns, merch to manage, a whole bunch of legal nonsense to deal with, and all of the meetings. It’s a lot for a little team of five, so your patience is appreciated.

The Airship update will launch on 31 March and new features include picking your own starting point, ladders, and a bunch of new tasks for you to complete before you get stabbed. Also, you can expect some free hats, just for being cool.
