Game-crashing bugs delay Watch Dogs: Legion multiplayer on PC

Console players are finally getting Watch Dogs: Legion multiplayer tomorrow, 9 March, but their PC counterparts are going to have to wait a little while longer, or a lot while longer, it’s not really clear.

According to the Watch Dogs: Legion Twitter account, game crashing bugs on the PC version have delayed the free multiplayer update indefinitely. If it makes you PC players feel any better, they’re also delaying the Tactical Ops missions on consoles due to bugs. Tactical Ops will be added for Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia on 23 March.

Tactical Ops is a set of five new missions, for up to four players, meant to offer a challenge for those who have completed the game and want to keep playing with their friends.

So, what will console players be getting in their update tomorrow? Well, there’s open-world co-op, which works like single-player, but with friends. Then, there’s a PvP mode called Spiderbot Arena: a four-player deathmatch fought with spiderbots. And, if you want to be annoying, sneak into another person’s single player game to hack their data with Invasion mode. That’s not nothing. Also, if you got the season pass, there are two new single-player missions. All online activities, like completing daily and weekly challenges, will earn you experience, allowing you to rank-up and earn rewards.
