It’s the Justice League you know and probably didn’t love, now with 100 percent more black suit Superman.
HBO Max released the official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League over the weekend and, fine, I’m intrigued. If you’re struggling to spot the differences (it’s been a while and you probably forgot about Justice League the moment it was over), here’s the final trailer from 2017 for comparison:
Holy tonal shift, Batman.
If you were wondering why Justice League is coming out again, it’s because the original wasn’t… good and DC fans suspected it had something to do with Snyder having to step away before it was complete, leaving Joss Whedon to butcher his vision. The “Snyder Cut” do-over features new and previously cut scenes, a new score, and revitalised visual effects. This includes characters that didn’t even show up in the original, including legendary DC “big bad” Darkseid and the Joker (the Jared Leto version). Also making an appearance this time around: coherence.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be hitting HBO Max from 18 March. Which means it should show up on Showmax shortly thereafter, hopefully.
