Debuted at BlizzCon 2019, the sequels are probably Activision Blizzard’s two most hyped games unless you count Diablo Immortal, but who counts Diablo Immortal? Exactly.
The publisher confirmed the news this week in an earnings call with its investors, according to Polygon, with not even a launch window to help us cope. A subsequent public press release adds that “we are making significant progress” on “other key intellectual properties”, but doesn’t include more info, and the rumoured Diablo 2 Resurrected remaster is a total no-show. Bummer.
That doesn’t mean it’s going to be a total no-show at BlizzConline at the end of the month, though. So we’ve got that to dream about for now.
