Keeping its promise that the studio is “definitely not done” with the series, BioWare has launched a teaser trailer for the next sequel, featuring… um, not very much, actually. Space, mostly. And is that Liara T’Soni or – gasp! – a robotic clone programmed to dump you for dumping her in that Mass Effect 2 DLC just as you’re about to start an awkward sex scene? Maybe, but probably not.
According to the video’s YouTube blurb, the game is “in the early stages of what is on the horizon for the Mass Effect franchise”, so don’t expect it out in 2021. Or 2022. Or who even knows.
