Indivisible joins the growing list of video games getting the TV adaptation treatment.
According to Deadline, the 2D RPG platformer will be adapted for TV by Meg LeFauve (Inside Out) and Jonathan Fernandez (Star Trek: Enterprise) and will be produced by DJ2 Entertainment (Sonic the Hedgehog) and Legendary Television.
Originally released in 2019, published by 505 Games, Indivisible follows rebellious protagonist Ajna on her quest to avenge her village and to figure out the true power of the mysterious magic abilities awakened inside her. It already features a whole bunch of hand-drawn animation sequences, so an animated series doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch.
If you want to see what it’s all about, Indivisible is currently available to play on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
A TV adaptation of Dragon’s Dogma was also recently announced for Netflix, where it will join the already-excellent Castlevania series. Then there’s that live-action Halo series that should be out some time next year. Animation really seems to be the video game adaptation sweet zone, though.
