Infinity Ward has announced updates to the ways they’ll be dealing with cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare, including matchmaking that forces cheaters to play with each other – for righteous justice.
Starting this week, Infinity Ward has deployed extra security updates and increased their resources to deal with anti-cheat enforcement. Players will, now, also get an in-game notification that players they’ve reported for suspected cheating have been found guilty and banned. But, more importantly, matchmaking updates mean that suspected cheaters will be matched together, so they can aimbot each other to their heart’s content – like what Apex Legends started doing last year.
They’ll also be adding a feature a lot of players have been asking for; the ability to report suspected cheaters from the killcam and Spectator Mode.

Console players have recently been resorting to turning off crossplay to avoid suspected PC cheaters in Warzone, so hopefully these changes will get them back in the pool.
