Borderlands 3’s second DLC release, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Wedding of Wainwright & Hammerlock, drops today and it’s bringing a level cap increase update with it. Time to rearrange that skill tree (again), because you’ve got a couple more points to work with as the level cap goes from 53 to 57.
The jump is significant because the last level cap bump got players, frustratingly, one point short of filling two skill trees and, now, you’ll be able to rock two capstone skills (the ones at the very bottom of the skill tree) like nobody’s business.
In Guns, Love, and Tentacles you’re invited to Wainwright and Hammerlock’s extreme engagement party adventure on the ice planet Xylourgos. The cursed townsfolk and cultists will add a little flavour to the festivities. Newcomers rejoice, you don’t need to complete the story campaign to take part in this DLC, because it’s ready when you are and scales to your level.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Wedding of Wainwright & Hammerlock will be available to download from 18:00 SAST today; 26 March 2020. If you didn’t get the Season Pass or the Super Deluxe Edition of Borderlands 3, you’ll have to purchase the DLC separately.
