Red Dead Redemption 2 Arthur Photo Mode

Xbox One gets Red Dead Redemption 2 content that everyone else already had

A recent update to Red Dead Redemption 2 adds new Story Mode content and Photo Mode, already available on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Stadia versions, for the Xbox One, plus some more clothes and emotes for anyone still putting up with Online play.

Xbox One owners rejoice, for you have been deemed worthy of Red Dead content everyone else has had for months. The latest update brings Photo Mode, for anyone wanting to take artistic advantage of the gorgeous scenery. Photo Mode gives you more tools than previously available to capture the perfect shot, so that’ll give you something to do while you’re waiting for the animal spawn issue to be fixed.

If you’ve been avoiding Online, the Xbox One Story Mode now has a bunch of new content including Bounty Hunter missions, hideouts, treasure maps, the “To the Ends of the Earth” mission, new weapons, some shiny new horses, and a bunch of new trinkets.

Red Dead Online gets the Salizzo Double Bandolier, Rulfo Boots, Starrett Hat, and the Gordillo Half-Chaps, plus a bunch of new emotes, including the Hat Flick and the Howl. Also, there’s a new Murfree Brood Hideout up in Beaver Hollow. New players will benefit from a number of discounts on weapons, pamphlets, and horses, with Free Roam missions and “A Land of Opportunities” giving out 50% extra XP.

I know Xbox isn’t Rockstar’s favourite, but how did Stadia make the preferential treatment cut? I feel personally attacked.
