You know, so you can get up to speed before Half-Life: Alyx comes out, because you’ll all definitely be able to play it.
Half-Life: Alyx, Valve’s highly successful marketing tool for the Index VR headset, is set for release in March and, since it shares a lot of story elements with Half-Life and Half-Life 2, Valve is letting Steam users experience all the Half-Life games for free until Alyx comes out.
This offer includes Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, and Half-Life 2: Episode Two and it will end when Half-Life: Alyx launches.
Now everyone can experience the highs and lows of Gordon Freeman’s award-winning adventures in head crab extermination, including, but not limited to, crowbars, the gravity gun, D0G, motion sickness, and the realisation that there will never be a Half-Life 3.
If you were wondering who on Earth hasn’t played Half-Life, that would probably be all those people born in the 2000s that are now either adults or nearing adulthood, so feel old. On that note, has anybody played Half-Life recently? Does it hold up?
