There were people, out there, intending to wrestle their way into the new year with WWE 2K20, but, as the decade ticked over, it was revealed that 2K20 was the “best before” date all along.
WWE 2K20, a very polished wrestling game that has delighted many since its launch, became nigh-unplayable on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4; crashing when attempting to load a game from the main menu. This was apparently due to an issue with the game servers recognising 2020 as a legitimate date (it’s in the title and everything, guys).
Fortunately, some poor soul was dragged from their post-celebratory coma and a fix was made fairly early on 1 January.
This issue has been resolved. Please make sure to restart your #WWE2K20 game to automatically download the fix. If you continue experiencing issues, please open a support ticket here: https://t.co/E9ETwypbuw. Thank you again for your patience!
