If, like me, you thought Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds ran a little short for an RPG, you will be happy to know that it’s getting some story DLC next year.
The Outer Worlds received a number of nominations at the 2019 Game Awards and, while it didn’t win anything, Obsidian was just happy to be involved, with Social Media Manager Shyla Schofield recently posting in the Obsidian forums to express their gratitude to the fans. More importantly, she also confirmed some upcoming DLC.
The reception to The Outer Worlds has been unbelievable to see, and even just being nominated means a lot. However, the journey isn’t over yet as we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the story through DLC next year!
It’ll be interesting to see how this story DLC fits in, what with the flexible nature of the game and all. I have to assume it will sit somewhere before the ending, or at least before some of the events described in the rundown of your terrible decisions that serves as an epilogue.
Sorry, not sorry, Felix.
