Escape from Pretoria is based on a true story and follows two anti-apartheid activists, Tim Jenkin (Daniel Radcliffe) and Stephen Lee (Daniel Webber), who were imprisoned in Pretoria Central Prison for assisting banned organisations, like the ANC, in the 70s. As the title suggests, they, along with other prisoners, plotted an escape.
Apparently, it wasn’t even filmed here.
I mean, it still looks like it’ll be pretty good, it’s just a shame. They didn’t even get Andy Serkis…
