Think you’ve got the best EA Sports FC skills in your neighbourhood? Well then, why not put your controller where your mouth is as Mettlestate, in partnership with Penrose, is hosting an EA Sports FC tournament that could net you an epic cash prize from a R15,000 prize pool and even grant you entry into the premiere Mamelodi Sundowns Esports Championship.
The Kasi-Flare tournament kicks off with three qualifiers, one of which has already taken place. The top three players from each qualifier win their share of R5000, whilst the top four gain entry to the Kasi-Flare Grand Final, to be held at The Forge Arena on the 16th of November 2024. The two best football stars will walk away from the Grand Final with a coveted entry into the Mamelodi Sundowns Esports Championship, skipping all necessary qualifiers to get there.
The Mamelodi Sundowns Esports Championship holds an epic prize pool of R200,000, so you definitely want to make sure you bring your A-game.
Mettlestate hopes to build up the already booming football gaming scene by searching for the next great EA Sports FC star, hiding between the hustle and bustle of South Africa’s townships.
The two remaining qualifiers are set to take place in Protea Glen in Soweto and Attridgeville in Pretoria.
