It’s been a while since we’ve been graced by the beauty that is Tron’s Light Cycle. However, as announced just last week, gamers can get excited about a new game in the Tron universe brought to us by Bithell Games and published by Big Fan Games in partnership with Devolver Digital.
Said to build on the story originally told back in 2023 with Tron: Identity, Tron: Catalyst will put players in the shoes of Exo, a program that accidentally acquired powers called The Glitch.
Face multiple factions in the Arq Grid, utilising the time-bending powers of The Glitch in melee, ranged and Light Cycle combat to restabilise the universe and uncover the real errors in the programs exploiting the grid.
This top-down action platformer is set to launch on PC and consoles in 2025, so you can expect to see more information on the game coming soon.
