Return To Hogwarts: Lego Harry Potter Collection Gets A Magical Remaster

Warner Bros. Games has waved its magic wand, and voilà! The Lego Harry Potter Collection is now available digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam – because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to experience the wizarding world in glorious, pixelated, brick-by-brick format?

This remastered compilation bundles Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 into one enchanted package, complete with two previously released DLC packs. Developed by TT Games, these games bring all the spells, potions, and dramatic staircases of Hogwarts to life in classic Lego style.

Expect all the humour and charm that comes with smashing everything into tiny bricks – because nothing says magic like obliterating a table and rebuilding it in five seconds flat.

Now, thanks to Double Eleven’s remastering efforts, this collection levels up with 60 FPS, 4K resolution, haptic feedback, and high-res shadow maps… basically, Hogwarts has never looked this sharp.

If you already own the collection on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you can snag the upgrade for a special, discounted price until the 6th of November, and Steam players can also upgrade their old Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 games for a modest R370 (provided they own both the originals) or for R740 if this is their first foray.

For the few who haven’t been inducted into the wizarding ways of Lego Harry Potter, here’s your quick spellbook:

Years 1-4 takes you through The Philosopher’s Stone to The Goblet of Fire, capturing Harry’s early Hogwarts hijinks, I’m talking about trolls in bathrooms, giant chess games, and oh, that snake in the Chamber of Secrets.

Years 5-7 tackle the darker side of the series, with the final battle against Voldemort in The Deathly Hallows, complete with all the usual Lego humour – because if Voldemort were made of plastic, he’d probably be a lot less intimidating.

The bundle also comes with two fun DLC packs. There’s the Character Pack, which lets you play as everyone from Godric Gryffindor to a straight-jacketed Gilderoy Lockhart… what could possibly go wrong?.

The Spell Pack gives you some handy extra spells like “Tentaclifors,” which turns enemies into, you guessed it, tentacles. Because why wouldn’t you want that?

So, whether you’re revisiting these bricktastic adventures or finally hopping on the Hogwarts Express for the first time, the big question is:

Are you ready to reassemble Lego Hogwarts and take on the Dark Lord once more? Let me know in the comments – or send your owl post if that’s more your style!
