Yes, you’ll be driving a clunky van through a wasteland, but trust me, it will be a blast. You’ll step into the boots of Sauge, the prodigal daughter of planet Cigalo, who’s back home after catching a distress signal from her missing sister. What’s a little family reunion without a side of sci-fi mystery, right?
I know what you’re thinking: hardcore sci-fi with space gadgets? That sounds heavy. But no, Caravan SandWitch keeps things warm, cosy, and delightfully dusty – at least if we go by the trailer.
If it weren’t for the occasional hologram or techy gizmos bolted to your van, this place would look like a beat-up rural town here on Earth. So basically, Cigalo’s just like home if your hometown has mysterious ruins and desert vibes.
But the biggest mysteries the game has to offer like where is your sister? Why are all these space travellers living in broken-down ruins? And, most importantly, who is that tall lady in the hat lurking in the shadows and pulling a Houdini every time you get close? Well, those will only be answered when the game drops. From everything we’ve seen, Caravan SandWitch looks like a game you don’t want to miss with its vibrant colours, intricate details, and undeniable indie charm.
