In news I never thought I’d be reporting this early in the week, three years after its release, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous just got a new DLC for free – and that’s not even the biggest surprise.
No, the real highlight is that this DLC is a crossover with an indie action RPG that our very own Cody can’t get enough of: Children of Morta.
For those not familiar, Children of Morta is a pixel-art dungeon crawler about the Bergson family of adventurers (and their adorable pet wolf cub) as they battle an ancient evil called the Corruption. Now, it looks like their fight is heading to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
The free DLC, Visitors from Morta, brings the Bergson clan to the Worldwound in Wrath of the Righteous. It also introduces two new character archetypes—the Defender of the Hearth for fighters and the Keen-eyed Adventurer for witches—a magical item, and even the option to give your character Lucy’s iconic braids.
Want to check out the trailer for Visitors from Morta? It’s right below! But now it’s your turn. Are you excited for this crossover? Cody sure is—and let’s be honest, so am I.
