Cyberpunk and board game fans, this one is for you. A new Cyberpunk 2077 board game is on the way. Go On Board took to the popular crowdfunding platform Gamefound yesterday to announce their crowdfunding goal of bringing adaptation to life.
However, I doubt anyone could have expected that they would not only reach their goal but completely obliterate it as quickly as they did. In only ten minutes and four seconds, the $100,000 goal was reached, and in under an hour, that game had already reached seven times the initial goal, which means that all the stretch goals had already been met.
Cyberpunk 2077 – The Board Game’s crowdfunding page over on Gamefound shows that the board game has already gotten over $1,949,442 in backing, though even while typing, that number keeps growing and growing,
For those who might not already know, this isn’t the first time that Cyberpunk 2077 was adapted into a board game. Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City from CMON already exists in the world, but this new game from Go On Board is entirely unrelated.

Cyberpunk 2077 – The Board Game promises to be a story-driven tactical board game that will take players on an epic adventure straight to the major leagues. Players can take on the role of V, Judy, Panam or Jackie and experience an alternative story told in 13 thrilling missions, solo or with up to 4 players.
The stretch goals that were reached for the game include:
- A new game mode
- Several new weapons
- Thicker cards
- Another whole mission, among other incentives
The game is also scheduled to be released in December 2025 – but this is crowdfunding, so expect delays.
