Black Myth: Wukong has barely been out for a couple of weeks, and it is already smashing records left, right and centre, proving to be the smash hit we all knew it would be back when we released the NAG Annual last year in December.
Of course, you’ve got to know how quick the modding community is, and someone has already drawn the connections between Journey to the West and Dragon Ball, you know, with its monkey tails and staff-wielding hero Goku.
The mod itself is a pretty straightforward model swap but blends into the game just well enough that it feels like it could be natural. At times, Goku does feel a little cartoony, but it’s pretty badass that you get to swing your staff around as the Saiyan Saviour.
With 103 mods for the game already posted on the NexusMods page, there are other cool ones that you can use to customise your game, like changing your staff into a double-bladed lightsaber or swapping out your Gord for Rice Shower from Uma Musume.
Other mods include silly things like a simple red tint to the Destined One’s hair or even a pair of Raybans.
