Cult Of The Lamb Is Rocketing Up The Steam Charts Thanks To A Massive Free Update

Apparently, all it took to add a whole bunch more cult leaders to the world was for the Unholy Alliance DLC for Cult of the Lamb to drop. Who would have thought?

And when I say there are many new cults, I mean it. The free Unholy Alliance DLC has seen everyone’s favourite cutesy cult simulator game rocket to the 6th most-sold game on Steam.

For those who might not have been following it, Unholy Alliance is the second major update for Cult of the Lamb to be released this year. Most excitingly, it adds local co-op to the game because you know what’s even more fun than running a cult alone? Running it with your bestie, of course.

Alongside the much-requested co-op, Unholy Alliance also sees a whole collection of new traits added to the game, as well as relics, tarots, and even new buildings.

The fun doesn’t end with Unholy Alliance, either. A paid DLC was released in tandem with the free update: The Pilgrim Pack. This pack adds an interactive digital co and provides access to new quests, followers, outfits, and cult decorations.

Just to run you through some of the most fabulous new additions to the game:

  • Local Co-Op
  • The Final Bishop Questline
  • 21 New Traits
  • New Buildings
  • New Fleeces and Transmog
  • New Relics and Tarots

As for the Pilgrim Pack DLC:

  • The Full Pilgrim Comic Story and Bonus Pages
  • Unique In-Game Questline
  • 5 New Follower Forms
  • 2 New Outfits and 1 New Fleece

But now I want to know from you: are you excited to dive into or back into Cult of the Lamb, or are you dead inside? Let me know in the comments.
