Launched in 2014, Logitech introduced the first G502 mouse to the world. This mouse was designed around a gamer’s needs and even here at the NAG office, the G502 has been a solid gaming mouse we’ve been using for years – in all its iterations.
Two years later, in 2016, Logitech launched the G502 Proteus Spectrum, which featured an insane 16.8 million colour, customisable RGB. From there, in 2018, we witnessed the launch of the G502 HERO mouse, designed with Logitech G’s Hero 25K sensor, which Logitech touted as the highest-performing sensor at the time.
In 2019, the G502 was upgraded yet again with Lightspeed wireless technology for improved responsiveness in the game. It also featured Powerplay wireless charging. Then, in 2022, the G502 was upgraded to G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed, and G502 X Plus with Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switches.
