This Is Not A Drill, Fallout: London, The DLC-Sized Fallout 4 Mod Is Releasing Today!

In case the heading of this piece didn’t drive it home, let me repeat: this. is. not. a drill. After weeks, months, and even years of eager anticipation, the colossal DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4, Fallout: London, is finally releasing today—unless, and I quote the modders themselves here, “nuclear war happens.”

If you’ve been living in a bunker and have no idea why an unofficial Fallout 4 mod is worthy of all this excitement – just settle down; I’m about to explain it.

Fallout: London is no baby mod; no, this is basically a full-on DLC / explanation / new freaking game that finally shows us how somewhere that isn’t America would look once the bombs have fallen.

Set in post-apocalyptic London, Fallout: London gives gamers a version of London that’s teaming with some of the most British baddies we’ve ever seen. From smaller gangs like the Isle of Dogs Syndicate, the Vagabonds, and the Beefeaters to skinheads, the aristocratic Gentry, an army of Tommies, and even a group calling themselves Camelot, Fallout: London delivers it all.

I’m not sure that any words I have genuinely do the quality or scale of this mod justice, so rather than take my word for it, here’s the trailer marking the release of this gift from the gaming gods themselves:

If you’re as excited for Fallout: London as I am, you’ll be relieved to know that the mo will be fully compatible with the GOG version of Fallout 4 straight off the bat.

Steam users, on the other hand, will need to apply a downgrade patch as the next-gen update isn’t stable enough.

Unfortunately, Epic players are out of luck right now because the Epic Games Store doesn’t allow rollbacks to earlier game versions. I’d be sad, but I’m too busy being excited. Sorry, not sorry.
