Looking For A Free Walking Sim Filled With Some Vintage Early 2000s Vibes? We’ve Got You

It’s that super fun time of the month again when our last payday was so long ago, and it’s barely a distant memory, and our next is almost close enough – but in a mildly torturous way, it remains just out of grasp, which is why this is the perfect time to talk about a free game.

Krypta FM is a free walking sim that will have players roaming the streets and woods of a Polish village in the early 2000s. Aside from aimlessly walking around like someone desperately trying not to lose their move streak, players will also be investigating some mysterious cryptid sightings, taking pictures of stuff, interacting with forums, and listening to the radio, as one does.

While Krypta FM is probably too scary for Cody, I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a horror game. Instead, it’s one of those atmospherically uncomfortable games with just enough callbacks to the early 2000s to feel oddly nostalgic as well.

I’m yet to put any proper time into Krypta FM, but those who have and who have then left reviews on Steam seem to really love it. As of writing this, the game holds a Very Positive rating on the platform, with many of the comments stating that the game should definitely not be free.

If you want to show developers Under The Sink Studio some love, you can check out Krypta FM by following the link here.
