1v1 Me Bro, Dota 2 Now Has A Built-In Fighting Game

Last night saw the arrival of Dota 2’s Crownfall Act 3: The Frosts of Icewrack. Alongside that mouthful came a new overworld map, some collector’s cache items, a new comic advancing the story, and perhaps most exciting of all, a full-on fighting game.

It is laughably called Sleet Fighter, partly as a play on Street Fight and partly because it is snow-themed. Sleet Fighter is a mini-game played from within the Dota 2 client.

As of writing, players can choose between five Dota 2 heroes: Marci, Bristleback, Tusk, Vengeful Spirit, and Dawnbreaker. They then face off against other characters in the ultimate version of the ever-popular “1v1 me, bro.”

Now, Sleet Fighter isn’t going to cost anyone at Capcom their jobs. Still, it is a pretty fun, albeit unexpected, battle pass addition to the game. As with other fighting games, each character in Sleet Fighter comes with a unique list of moves and alternate skins, and the game mode supports both single-player and PvP brawling, online and locally.
