Good guy EA has put Sims fans everywhere out of their mystery by releasing some core details on the upcoming Lovestruck DLC. These details included a reveal of a new urban world called Ciudad Enamorada, dating apps, a new way to die (heartbreak) and even the brand new edition of polyamorous relationships – and it’s not even paywalled.
EA has revealed that while players will need to purchase the DLC to get access to dating apps, having multiple partners is free for everyone if they’re willing to find partners the old-fashioned way.
Free for all players is the new Romantic Boundaries system that will allow you to customize your Sim’s experience with boundaries and jealousy.
You can now define how your Sims approach romantic relationships in terms of physical and emotional romantic exclusivity. This allows for Sims to date multiple Sims without impact to other relationships. – EA

While this new addition will probably not convert you into a Sims fan if you weren’t one already, it is a part of life that players have been wanting to see in the game for a long time already.
