In a strangely interesting power move, Ubisoft has just, as quietly as a bull in a fine China store, gone and delisted Beyond Good and Evil on Steam. And you know what that means, right? A remaster is heading our way! – for those of you who thought it meant Beyond Good and Evil 2 was in the cards, what are you? a Santa believing-in noob?
A note on the page where Beyond Good and Evil used to live on Steam reads:
Notice: At the request of the publisher, Beyond Good and Evil is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search.
This delisting comes on the heels of Ubisoft’s announcement that they will reveal more news about the upcoming Beyond Good and Evil—20th Anniversary Edition during the Limited Run Games Showcase on June 20th.
Looks like Uncle Pey’j has a message to share with you all…

Back in August of 2023, the Electronic Software Ratings Board rated Beyond Good and Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, so games were already aware of its existence.
Then in November, Ubisoft accidentally released that same anniversary edition early before pulling it and blaming the whole debacle for a technical error.
Now I want to hear from you. Are. Are you excited to jump into the Anniversary edition? I know I am. I missed playing Beyond Good and Evil when it was in its prime, and my partner kept telling me I needed to experience it, so here’s my shot.
