And just like that, we’ve reached the end of the week. Not only does that mean we can put on our comfiest gaming pants, grab some snacks, and spend some serious time with our favourite controllers in hand, but this week, we get an entirely extra day to play games.
Yes, it’s a long weekend, and we at NAG couldn’t be more excited. If you’re looking for something to play this one-day-longer weekend, we’ve put together ten games that are perfect for you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some downloads to start and some finger warm-up exercises to do.

Disco Elysium
Disco Elysium is a groundbreaking role-playing game. Players step into the shoes of a detective with a unique skill system.
The game will have you interrogating unforgettable characters, cracking murders or taking bribes in what is essentially a hardboiled cop show with an isometric RPG style.
How long is Disco Elysium?
If you’re only going to focus on the main story, Disco Elysium should take players about 23 hours to complete, and if you’re a completionist, you’ll be looking at roughly 46 hours in total.

Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout: New Vegas is the perfect game if you loved the show and don’t want to return to Fallout 4 or 76 for the umpteenth time.
As the name implies, the game is set within New Vegas, which is the kind of town where you dig your own grave before being shot in the head and left for dead…and that’s before things really get ugly.
How long is Fallout: New Vegas?
Suppose you’re looking only to experience the core story. In that case, it will take you about 27 hours, but if you aim to see everything the game offers, you’re in for a thrilling 131-hour ride. Give or take a couple of hours.

Diablo IV
Diablo IV is the latest foray into… hell, or Sanctuary as it’s known. Lilith has returned, summoned by a dark ritual after aeons in exile—her return ushers in a new era of misery and darkness.
The game is an action RPG adventure and a great addition to the Diablo franchise.
How long is Diablo IV?
I’m not looking at completing battle passes, etc., but if you’re focusing on just getting through the main story, it should take you about 26 hours.
However, if you want to do everything, settle down because you’re in for a whopping 187 hours – on the short end.

Dragon’s Dogma 2
Dragon’s Dogma is a single-player, narrative-driven action RPG series that challenges players to choose their own experiences.
Customise everything, from the appearance of your Arisen to your vocation, party, and even how you want to approach different situations.
This time around, the game will see players accompanied by Pawns, mysterious otherworldly beings, in an adventure so unique that you will feel as if accompanied by other players while on your own adventure.
How long is Dragon’s Dogma II?
If you’re only playing for the main story, it should take players about 30 hours to complete. If you want to experience everything you can, you’re looking at about 90 hours.

NieR: Automata
NieR: Automata tells the story of three androids, 2B, 9S, and A2, and their battle to reclaim the machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful machines.
In the game, mechanical beings from another world have driven humanity from the Earth. In a final effort to take back the planet, human resistance forces android soldiers to destroy the invaders.
How long is NieR: Automata?
Focusing on the main objectives, NieR: Automata should take players about 21 hours to complete; however, to complete everything, you’re in for about 61 hours.

Palworld
Palworld is the latest and greatest game in the creature-catching genre. It’s a multiplayer, open-world survival crafting game where players can befriend and collect mysterious creatures called Palls.
Players can then use their collected Palls to fight, build, farm, and even work in factories in one super fun and equally ridiculous game.
How long is Palworld?
If you just want to play the main game, you’re looking at about 35 hours; however, if you want to milk it for everything it’s worth, 81 hours is closer to how long it will last.

Dead Cells
Dead Cells is a rogue-lite Metroidvania action platformer. In it, players explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle while engaging in 2D souls-lite combat.
The game also has no checkpoints, so when you die, you hopefully learn and move forward, or you just die and die again.
How long is Dead Cells?
When focusing on the main story, Dead Cells is about 14 Hours in length. But if you want to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 90 hours on this title.

Dave the Diver
I don’t even want to tell you anything about this game; I just want to say that if you haven’t already played it, you really, really should.
Dave the Diver is a marine adventure set in the mysterious Blue Hole. By day, players explore the sea with Dave and run a sushi restaurant at night.
How long is Dave the Diver?
Dave the Diver should take players a magical 24 hours to complete. However, if you want to experience all the joy the game has to offer, you’ll be in for a sweet 46-hour thrill ride.

Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight is a challenging, and strikingly beautiful action adventure game set in the vast, inter-connected underground kingdom of Hallownest.
It’s a 2D action game with an emphasis on skill and exploration and will see you fighting a fearsome host of deadly creatures, avoiding intricate traps and solving ancient mysteries
How long is Hollow Knight?
When focusing on the main objectives, Hollow Knight is about 27 Hours in length. If you’re a gamer that wants to experience everything, or you just really, really suck like I do, you’re in for about 64 hours.

Alan Wake II
One of the best horror games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing, Alan Wake II sees the return of the writer named Alan Wake in this survival horror game
The game follows the writer who continues to face psychological horror beyond anything imagined in his books.
How long is Alan Wake II?
If you’re there for the story, you can finish the game in about 19 hours; however, if you want to unlock everything the game offers, you’re looking at closer to 30 hours.

If you’re not looking to invest in just one game this long weekend, Cody recently covered the latest Next Fest on Steam.
This is cool because it gives players multiple demos they can explore. Who knows, maybe you’ll even find a couple of demos that get you hooked.
