Better buckle-up divers named Dave because the always fearsome and mighty Godzilla has just arrived in the game.
The Dave the Diver X Godzilla DLC is completely free for gamers to download, but it won’t be around forever.
Gamers have until the 23rd of November to claim the DLC for themselves before the world’s most well-known reptilian powerhouse retreats to the abscess once more.
According to the PlayStation Blog, Godzilla has been wounded and is seeking refuge in Blue Hole. During the DLC, Dave will be able to do favours for Godzilla, which might just pay off because Ebirah, the horror of the deep, is also in the waters, and he does not like Dave.
The DLC also ads in a submarine belonging to the international military organization G-Force.
While we can’t wait to dive into Dave the Diver the moment our work is done today, the fact that this collaboration is served as a DLC instead of just regular seasonal content seems… strange.
But to help demystify it a bit, this is how the DLC will work:
- Players can download it right now, for free, until the 23rd of November.
- If downloaded within this time, the DLC will remain on your account even after the timer runs out.
- Players can also uninstall and reinstall it after DDay without hassles.
But now, if you’ll excuse me. I have work to do and Godzilla’s to help.
