If you’ve never heard of an indie game or indie studio before, the only explanation is that you’ve gone too deep into Guild Wars 2, and you may need some help. Otherwise, there’s a guarantee that you’ve heard of Devolver Digital, the studio behind some of the biggest indie games we’ve played over the past few years.
With games like Human Fall Flat, Anger Foot, and Baby Steps as some of its lesser-known titles and Cult of the Lamb, My Friend Pedro, and Death’s Door as some of its more popular ones, Devolver Digital has been churning out banger after banger, and there are likely more bangers to come.
Announced just last night, Devolver has revealed the date and time for this year’s Devolver Direct, where they will showcase what they’ve got in the works for all of us to drool over.

The showcase will take place during the Summer Games Fest on the 7th of June, at 5 PM Pacific. For those who are too lazy to Google, that will be 2 AM on Saturday morning, the 8th.
That gives us more than enough time to stock up on some energy drinks and snacks and make sure our gaming chairs are set to “comfort”.
