It’s not news that Henry Cavill, apologies, the Great Sir Henry Cavill, Lord of the Geeks, relinquished his role as Geralt of Rivia to Liam Hemsworth for the latest season of the Netflix series, but what we have yet to see is how, after three glorious seasons (yes, I enjoyed them no matter what you all think), Hemsworth will reprise the same intensity that Cavill brought to the character.
Since Cavill’s departure over a year ago, though, both Season 4 and 5 of the series have been in production with Hemsworth at the helm. While the final two seasons of the series are being shot back-to-back, we have yet to see anything from Netflix with Hemsworth in the White Wolfs’ clothing—until now.
The teaser doesn’t show much, but it does deliver a similar intensity to the character that I have enjoyed so much from the show so far.
With no official premiere date for season 4 of The Witcher, I’m sure there will be more of these little snippets from the show as time passes.
Are you as excited as I am for the next season, or do you think Hemsworth’s feet aren’t big enough for Geralts boots? Let me know in the comments below.
