Redfall To Receive One Final Update Before Arkane Austin Disappears

Last week, the world was unceremoniously forced to bid farewell to popular game studios Roundhouse Games, Alpha Dog Games, Tango Gameworks, and Arkane Austin.

As a result, it also meant that the FPS Redfall wouldn’t see the day it would make a comeback, much like Cyberpunk 2077 did. However, the game will receive one final update before Arkane Austin disappears. Thanks again, Microsoft.

The final update was revealed on X with a message from Arkane Austin that read:

Until now, Redfall has always required an online connection, even when trying to head on into the game in singleplayer mode., and it’s something that the team has been looking to change since before the game was released.

However, that train quickly derailed when the developers realized there were far more pressing matters to focus on, and then, just as those had finally been resolved, Microsoft happened.

This means that Redfall players will not receive any further content, single-player offline support will be made available, and Redfall servers will be online for an unspecified time.

Players who purchased the now-cancelled Hero Pass for the game should be covered by the Redfall credit program. All they need to do is register for updates on bethesda.net.
