According to a well-known leaker, Midori, Nintendo may have a project name for the next generation Switch, even if they’re still calling it the Switch 2 or New Switch, while discussing future plans with Sega.
There is a project at Nintendo with the codename U-King-O
It might be related to the rumors of the next Nintendo console codename.

According to the tweet, a Nintendo project named U-King-O is being circulated in the office. Midori suggests that U-King represents Breath of the Wild, but the “O” is new.
They speculate that the new console could be called “Ounce” because it is still lightweight but has a lot more power than its predecessor.
A few comments down, though, Midori says that Nintendo is still referring to the console as the Switch 2 or New Switch, meaning Nintendo themselves might just add the 2 to the console name, or maybe even an “SP” or “Advanced.”
Either way, this is all just speculative information from a leaker, and I still have my money down on Nintendo, naming it the Nintendo 2witch.
