The Assassin’s Creed Game Set In Japan With Ninjas, Finally Has A Name And An Official Reveal Date

Remember all the talk and chatter about the yet-to-be-named Assassin’s Creed game we’ve all been lovingly referring to as Codename Red? Well, it turns out it finally has a name, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and tomorrow, the game will be officially released.

The game formally known as Codename Red was revealed back in 2022, alongside two other unnamed Assassin’s Creed games: Hexe and Jade. Red was set in feudal Japan, but other than a 10-second teaser, little else was revealed about it.

However, the wait is finally over, and tomorrow, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will officially be introduced to the world with a cinematic world premiere trailer. You can watch the stream when it goes live here:

The reveal is also not the only exciting news about Assassin’s Creed Shadows. If an oopsie on one of Ubisoft’s YouTube channels is to be believed, the release date for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be 15 November 2024, which is basically tomorrow.

Can you tell we’re excited? Can you?
