And just like that, the second Monday has led straight into Friday without all the sightseeing it usually takes on the way. And Friday means that it’s time for Epic Game Store to live up to its name and be pretty damn epic by giving away not one but two free games.
For those who don’t already know, every Thursday or sometimes Friday, Epic Games Store makes a game, and sometimes, if you’ve been really good, two games are available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.
To grab this fantastic gift for themselves, gamers need only log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer, and add the game to their library—forever.
Today, the Epic Games Store thinks we’ve been the best boys and girls, and from now until the 9th of May, two games are on offer.
Cat Quest II
[Get It Here]
Usually retailing for R139, this cat-led open-world action RPG takes players into a fantasy realm filled with cats and even dogs. Cat Quest II has received overwhelmingly positive reviews and is the sequel to the award-winning original.
The game can be played alone or with a friend and will see players take on quests in a world filled with magic, defeating monsters and collecting all the loot any good catventure should have
Orcs Must Die! 3
[Get It Here]
The bio for Orcs Must Die! 3 pretty much sums up the entire game: Slice, burn, toss, zap, and glib massive hordes of repugnant orcs.
Orcs Must Die! 3 is the third title in the hugely popular tower defence franchise. It has very positive reviews and usually retails for R175. The game can either be played alone or in a two-player co-op.
If Cat Quest II or Orcs Must Die! 3 seems like the games for you; remember to head to the Epic Games Store and add them to your library before the 9th of May, when the next free game or games go live.
