I’m not going to waste any time ranting and raving about just how great the Fallout TV Show truly is; no, I’m not going to bring it up. Not even once. If you want to read about all things Fallout, you can follow the links here, here and here.
Well, it seems I’m not alone in my addition to the show. According to Amazon, over 65 million people binged through the show in the first two weeks since its release. This makes Fallout Amazon’s most-watched show among people 18-34 and the second-most-watched show to ever premier on Prime, following The Lords of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which aired in 2022.
Not to look sideways at the crazy number that Fallout has pulled and deserved to pull, but it is worth mentioning that Amazon has never publicly stated how their views are calculated.
For example, Netflix considers anyone who watched at least 70% of an episode a viewer; however, a while back, they were toying around with the idea of counting a view after just two minutes. So until Amazon publicly states how its views are counted, it will forever stay mirky.
But ultimately, the views were enough for Fallout to be renewed for a second season, and really, that’s all that matters in my books.
