Over the last 20-something years, players in Counter-Strike have battled as Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists alike, fighting over hostages, bombs and everything else, while their left hand just sort of existed – until now.
As of the latest patch for Counter-Strike 2, players are now able to swap between left and right hands in the game and even pre-set their preferred hand so that they’re never in a situation again where their preferred hand is just sort of there, like a useful accessory instead of actively pulling the trigger.
Players can also swap handedness mid-round by pressing H (with your left hand, as it should be).

That’s really all there is to this news. Being able to swap hands also means you now have the option to throw your knife from hand to hand with a cool new animation and pear around walls slightly differently.
Are you excited to have two working hands in Counter-Strike 2 now? Or are you dead inside? Much like your left hand was in the game before this patch? Let me know in the comments.
