Riot Games has just released the first gameplay trailer for the latest champion in their upcoming fighting game, 2XKO.
Illaoi, The Kraken Priestess, now brings the playable roster up to five, alongside Yasuo, Darius, Ahri and Ekko.
Similar to her role in League of Legends, Illaoi will play a mid-range bruiser with the ability to summon tentacles to assist her in battle. It’s important to note, though, that this doesn’t make her a “puppet-master” style fighter. Her main kit still revolves around her own high-impact hits, while her tentacles assist in keeping the combos going. Her invincible start ultimate also adds to her ability to keep her target down blow after blow. The only thing she needs to do is catch them.
With the game set for launch sometime in 2025, we’ll start to see more champions leave the rift and head to the 2v2 fighting game, but who do you think is next on the roster?
