If you binged through the first season of Fallout over the weekend, you’ve likely developed a craving to tackle some sort of post-apocalyptic world that’s more than a bit zany. Don’t worry; you’re not alone.
Since the series launch on Amazon Prime, the concurrent player count for Fallout on Steam has more than doubled.

As we can see by the charts, it’s not just the latest game in the series, Fallout 76, that has seen a significant boost in players. In fact, it’s the 2015 released Fallout 4 that has seen the most love.
This is more than likely because Fallout 4 is a single-player story-driven experience, similar to what you experience when watching the show, whereas Fallout 76 is more of a post-apocalyptic survival game.
Whether you’re looking for that single-player vibe or you want to tackle the world with a few friends, now is the perfect time to jump right in, with most of the Fallout Series games on sale.
Amazon Prime subscribers can grab Fallout 76 or Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, the tactical RPG game, for free on Xbox and PC on Amazon Prime Gaming. Fallout 76 is also included in the Xbox Game Pass service. If you’re somehow watching the show some other legal way, like at your buddy’s house, the game can be purchased on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam for 80% off.
If Fallout 4 is more up your alley, the base game can also be picked up for a steal.
The base game is available on both the Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Extra tier subscribers, or you can pick it up on Steam for around R75.
The game of the year edition, which includes all the already released DLCs and add-ons, is also on special across most platforms. Steam and Xbox are practically giving it away at 75% off; however, PlayStation has instead decided to discount all six add-ons at 60% off.
Since the release of the Amazon Series, Fallout 4 has also received some love from Bethesda. They finally announced the free next-gen update for the game, which will be released across all platforms on April 25th.
Keep your eyes on NAG this week, as we will soon be telling you guys what we think about the Fallout series and all the weird and wonderful easter eggs that you may or may not have missed during the show. Just be wary of the spoilers.
