I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For New Stardew Valley Content!

If two things in life are seemingly endless, its new content being added to Stardew Valley and Stardew Valley’s creator Eric Barone’s creativity when it comes to creating that new content.

Just weeks after the much-anticipated 1.6 update arrived, Eric Barone is back at it again with another new patch that’s set to drop this week. Yes, you read that right. This week.

The 1.6 update was absolutely huge for the game. It saw a new farm type added, as well as a bunch of new in-game festivals, late-game content, and even support for eight-person multiplayer – and believe it or not, that isn’t even all.

However, as any good farmer knows, where there’s a farm, there’s bound to be a few weeds, and Eric Barone is nothing if not a good farmer. Since the update dropped, he has worked overtime to ensure all those weeds are pulled.

In an X on X, everyone’s favourite indie game creator announced that later this week, another patch for PC will be released, which will not only fix even more bugs but also add some sweet, sweet new content.

As is custom for Eric Barone at this point, he didn’t elaborate on what issues would be fixed or what content would be added other than saying players could look forward to “a new fishing thing and some new mining-related stuff.”

As of writing, it’s not yet known when the 1.6 patch will arrive on console or mobile but Epic Baroe did say that they are in the works and will be released as soon as possible.
