miHoYo’s next gacha is holding a technical test for PS5 gamers, and you have just one week to sign up if Zenless Zone Zero is something you’ve been keeping your eye on.
For those unaware of what miHoYo is famous for, they’re the development team behind the hugely popular Genshin Impact.
This new title from the company features a more urban environment, with flashy action combat and a bright neon aesthetic. It seems to use a similar squad-style mechanic to Genshin Impact, where you play as a single character from your team and swap them out to perform massive, juggling combos on your enemies.
If Genshin Impact’s cleverly attractive gacha mechanics are anything to go off of, Zenless Zone Zero will likely be just as popular. Add to that the stylish combat and a new host of characters for gamers to enjoy, and miHoYo might just be hitting the nail on the head yet again.
IGN managed to capture 21 minutes of gameplay footage from Gamescom 2023, which gives us a pretty decent look at what we can expect from Zenless Zone Zero when it launches, supposedly, this year on PC, PS5, Xbox, iOS and Android.
