Woohoo! It is finally Friday, which means it’s time for the Epic Game Store to live up to its name and be pretty damn epic by giving away not one but two free games.
For those who don’t already know, every Thursday or sometimes Friday, Epic Games Store makes a game and sometimes, if you’ve been very good, two games, available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.
To grab this fantastic gift for themselves, gamers need only log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer, and add the game to their library—forever.
Today, the Epic Games Store thinks we’ve been the best boys and girls, and from now until the 11th of April, two games are on offer. One is a biggie, and the other is a nostalgic joyride.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition
[Get It Here]
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, usually retailing for R1,069, is the ultimate way to play the award-winning RPG.
This edition includes the base game as well as all the DLCs released, and as a bonus, it’s all been remastered.
The game will see players lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the galaxy’s edge. Players will then awake decades later only to find themselves amid a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the colony.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will let you explore Halcyon’s various planets and locations, including the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid and the delightful distilleries of Eridanos.
As you encounter various factions vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds.
Thief
[Get It Here]
This nostalgic kick in the face usually retails for R279 and will see Garrett, the Master Thief, step out of the shadows into the City.
In this treacherous place, where the Baron’s Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust. Even the most cautious citizens and their best-guarded possessions are not safe from his reach.
Over a decade after its debut, the game still holds a positive review score. Players will step into the shoes of the silent Garrett, a dark and lonely thief with an unrivalled set of skills.
Players will explore the sick and troubled City, from its shady back alleys to the heights of its rooftops. Sneak into rich houses, Infiltrate the best-guarded mansions and lurk in every dark corner… unnoticed and unsanctioned.
If The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition or Thief seems like the games for you, remember to head to the Epic Games Store and add it to your library before the 11th of April, when the next free game or games go live.
