Toys For Bob, the studio behind Crash Bandicoot 4, Skylanders, and the Spyro Reignited trilogy, has entered into an agreement with Xbox to publish their first game since becoming a studio independent from Activision.
According to a report on Windows Central, this was confirmed by Matt Booty from Xbox in a town hall meeting.
No details on the game were spilt, but Booty did say something along the lines of the game being in the same vein as Toys For Bob’s previous titles, like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot.
However, Toys For Bob may have already teased what this rumoured game is to be in their “We’re Going Indie” announcement in February.
“…keep your horns on and your eyes out for more news.” was the leading sentence in the final paragraph, which seems to hint at another Spyro title. While all the IP that Toys For Bob has worked on in the past remains the property of Microsoft, it’s still possible that we could see a game in any of these universes as the agreement is with Xbox, which is Microsoft’s, too.

Whatever the title ends up being, it’s good to see Toys For Bob still making toys after they took to standing on their own two legs.
