Don’t think we don’t see you there, anime, slowly creeping in and taking everything over. The latest target is Overwatch 2, which will get a Cowboy Bebop rewash on the 12th of March.
The Cowboy Bebop takeover is the second time Overwatch 2 has embraced anime, starting with its One Punch Man collaboration last year.
Starting on the 12th of March, Overwatch 2 will let players wear skins and other costumes based on the main Cowboy Bebop crew and even better than that, the iconic music from the anime will make its way into the game, too.
The four Legendary skins available through the shop, as well as a special free one, are:
- Spike Spiegel Cassidy
- Faye Valentine Ashe
- Jet Black Mauga
- Ed Sombra
- Ein Wrecking Ball (unlockable for free just by completing special event challenges)

We’ll only get to see precisely what these skins will look like next week, but to tide players over, they’ve released some fan art based on the upcoming skins.
There will also be a plethora of other cosmetics, as well as emotes and intros, but those are being kept under wraps until the event starts.
Overall, we’re very excited about this collaboration, and we may jump into the game while it’s on to pick up some cool Cowboy Bebop-themed awesomeness… just to test it out… for science.
