In a very un-funny and un-joker-like announcement, an X posted on X confirmed that the first season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will go live on the 28th of March and alongside it comes the grand entry of one of DC’s most infamously fantastic villains, The Joker.
We’ve yet to see the Joker in action beyond a brief clip back when the character was first announced. And if we’re going from that clip, it seems likely that this version of the Joker will be more like the Cesar Romero character of the ’60s Batman television series than the comic book version we’ve gotten to know and love in the more recent DC adaptations.
Time will tell how the introduction of The Joker in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will mix things up and if he can change the public perception of the live-service game. The game holds a Mostly Positive rating on Steam and is a pretty good time.
In our review of the game, we said:
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is, objectively, an entertaining game. And while its live-service aspects may turn some away, you’ll be missing out on the type of action, narrative gold, twists and turns, and humour reserved previously for the pages of the comics.
If you enjoy the world of DC Comics, then Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will deliver while showing you just how fun and light-hearted a co-op looter shooter can and should be.
But now I want to hear from you. Are you playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? If so, leave me your thoughts on the game in the comments.
