For a while now, fans have been complaining about the lack of attention and quality when it comes to the more recently released mythic skin collections, but the new Ancient Caller mythic skin for Moira has been a step in the right direction,
As is usual for Overwatch 2, players will only be able to grab this new skin after purchasing the latest season’s premium battle pass, filled with new cosmetics with an eldritch aesthetic and the mythic skin.
First introduced with the first season of Overwatch 2, these mythic-tier cosmetic items allow players to customise their heroes’ appearances, with each mythic skin introduced across the game’s nine seasons featuring multiple configurations and colours to try out.
A few of these skins have even included extra features like unique voice lines and filters. Still, as with the game, many players have seen these skins as underwhelming.
However, Moira’s new mythic skin aims to change players’ minds by giving them that added detail they’ve been missing. On top of the usual customisation options, players equipped with this new skin will also notice that it overhauls Moira’s highlight intro animations.
A short video posted on Reddit by user Calm-Key2837 shows how these overhauled animations compare to the originals, which helped bring this detail to the attention of many in the community.

All in all, Moira’s Ancient Caller mythic skin has managed to impress players with its attention to detail, with many hoping this sets the standard for mythic cosmetics.
