If 2024 was a character in a game, it would be so over-encompassing at this point that it couldn’t even move anymore. The year is only two months in, and already, we are struggling under the immense weight of all the chart-topping games that have come out.
The latest game to blow up is survival RPG Enshrouded. Having debuted into early access last month, the game has fast become a massive hit, with over 2 million players diving into it before it even hit its 30-day milestone.
However, no blessing can be without a curse, and attracting that many new players to your early access games also means requests for features, over 2,600 requests to be exact.

All these requests have been linked in a post on the game’s Steam page, with Keen Games urging players to vote for which features they would most want to see in the game.
While the requests are numerous, most of them seem reasonable enough. The request currently in the lead is that quest progress be dependent on individual players rather than server-based.
As of writing this, Keen Games has already added 40 of the player-requested features into the game, and while that’s only a tiny drop in a big ocean, it is great to see their willingness to continue to make Enshrouded the best game it could be.
Have you been playing Enshrouded? If so, drop us your thoughts on the game in the comments.
