Mojang just announced two new features they’ll add to Minecraft 1.21. A fancy new block and a new, super-charged pick-up.
The new block is more of a quality-of-life block for multiplayer trials. No longer will your greedy friends steal all the loot while you take your time to enjoy the scenery. The Vault is a slightly upgraded chest that has a few anti-greed features built into it.

Each player that unlocks the Vault with a trail key will be awarded loot once. This means everyone who gets to the Vault with a key gets the loot, no matter if you were there first, third, or, listen properly, nine hundred and forty-six hundred and thousandth.
You cannot craft the Vault; it will only be found at the end of a trial, and to get the key to open it, you will need to activate the trial spawner and, obviously, beat the trial.
If new blocks aren’t really your vibe, then feast your eyes on this new pickup.

The Wind Charge is a new item that drops from defeated Breezes. It’s a power-up that allows you to become Aang for a brief moment, sending a wind projectile to your enemies, dealing damage and knocking them into the air.
The Quake player in me’s first thought was, “Can I use this to rocket jump?” the answer is yes, yes, I can.
The Wind Charge will also be something you can’t craft, so the only way to get one will be to defeat a Breeze.
Both these new items are still in the testing phase, but you can give them a spin by enabling snapshots in Minecraft: Java Edition or preview/beta in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
To install a snapshot, open up the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab. To enable preview/beta for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, follow these instructions.
If you are a Realm subscriber, you can access these features in a free testing Realm for you and all your friends to enjoy.
